We had been talking for months, on and off. I invited Him to stay at my place for the holidays and His response? That He wanted to stay with Him. Naturally I said no, I had a life at my place, I wasnt ready to move. The Saturday before Thanksgiving I found myself unloading my car into His spare bedroom. Of course He got his wish. I havent moved into His room yet, but I have a feeling that is going to happen sooner rather than later. Im so stupid, wrapped around His finger. Im very glad He hasnt asked me what Im thinking, because lately the answer would be "marry me" and I am not ready for that. This time I am tending my needs first.

The great storm that hit had really made me depressed. And the fact that He was on the fence about actually moving back in, my heart was confused. So i have spent these last two weeks reading more than anything. Checking the mail semi frequently. Looking at the closed door a few times a day. Then a few days ago i got a note from new friend. It made me smile for the first time since he had to leave. All the note said was the rules about sending him notes and his address for the next few weeks. I walked to the post office that same day with a note for new friend, only to find that the storm had closed it. Tomorrow i will take the note elsewher

He was gone, for a while. I moved on from Him. At least I thought I did. I made a new friend and he helpped me discover who I was, what I liked. My world learned to revolve around me. With a kiss my new friend said goodnight and goodbye as he left.  It would be weeks before i could see him again. Hopefully he would write as promised. His door had been closed for so long I stopped looking at it when I walk by it. He disappeared okay? I'm looking at His closed door wondering if I'm going to see Him again.  Wondering why He left without a goodbye. She left too, with a goodbye, but She still left. I'm alone, in this empty house.  I try to write and words fail me, I try to craft only to find myself unwilling. The simple act of picking up a needle is heartbreaking.
